What is Harmony
TWO?
Harmony TWO is a 2-channel
stereo harmonic enhancement device. It features a pure class A gain stage
utilizing low noise JFET’s, HEXFET’s and High-Speed Bipolar transistors
in a DC coupled wide bandwidth circuit topology. All semiconductor devices
are hand-matched, to provide consistent audio performance characteristics
channel to channel.
How does Harmony
TWO work?
One of the key design factors
of Harmony TWO is how it produces Total Harmonic Distortion or THD. THD
is the measurement (usually in %) of the spectrum of harmonic distortion
products produced at a given frequency. This spectrum consists of even
harmonic (ie; 2nd, 4th, etc.) and odd harmonic (3rd, 5th, etc.) distortion
terms which are summed together to provide a single data point. It’s these
even and odd order distortion terms, which effect the sonic performance
characteristics of an audio circuit. Circuits with primarily even order
distortion products maintain a more natural, and life-like musical presentation,
while circuits with the presence of odd order distortion products have
a stridency or harder edge associated with them. Harmony TWO produces a
dominant 2nd order distortion product, with very low odd order products.
Any audio component connected to its input will have its signal transferred
in a more natural sounding, harmonically and musically accurate format.
How can Harmony
TWO enhance the sonic performance of your audio system?
Harmony TWO provides a more
harmonically correct and accurate audio signal transfer to the component
downstream. Installing Harmony TWO in your system will achieve improved
resolution and detail, greater dynamic range, expanded depth of soundstage,
and a deeper and tighter bass. Hear this amazing transformation to music,
movies and any other source by auditioning Harmony TWO. Hear how good your
current system can sound.
